Hypothetically, if the war had not been completely orchestrated by Darth Sidious, but if in fact the 2 sides had truly been commanded by seperate masterminds...

If neither side was led by a Sith lord...
Or one side was and the other side wasn't...
Or if both sides were led by Sith not in league with each other but in fact true enemies...
Do you think that either side had the military might to defeat the other?

If the Republic still ended up with the Clone army, yeah. Like thepepgal is alluding to, I think the deciding factor would be who's commanding the armies.

Keep in mind folks, despite the use of the Force, the Jedi in the Geonosis arena were outnumbered and ended up surrounded in a losing fight before Yoda showed up with reinforcements.

Sure, and if its the Jedi making up the army for the Republic, they'd lose. But, again, if its a Clone Army for the Republic, they'll fare pretty well against the droid army.

In your scenario, if the Sith were never involved in triggering the war and aren't involved, I'm not sure the Jedi would be either. The tricky thing is, it was Sidious who commissioned the development of the Clone Army. If that's not available, I'm not sure what the Republic would do.
