Going off of Knives out and Glass Onion, I would agree with you Master Magus he needs to stay away. Knives out was good, Rian was forced to develop characters and that helped move the story along with the plot and the twists he put in there. Then Glass Onion came out and he didn't do any character development because he thought he didn't need to because it's now about the detective? It was disjointed off-kilter storytelling. Which is sad because we know he can do better, he's just lazy, it seems.
