NOVEL: Thrawn
Has anyone read this yet? I’ve only just started it, but really enjoying it so far. Zahn is a master, so this is not surprising. What I have liked is the elements from his original trilogy that he’s kept in place, it’s a nice nod. And of course, they couldn’t have really asked anyone but him to write this!

I have the kindle version, but haven't started it yet. I loved his original trilogy, and hope Thrawn comes across as the same character. Reviews were mixed from what I recall, though I don't remember what specifically was being criticized. Maybe the opposition for him being somewhat weak?

Haven't gotten around to it... I'll probably pick it up as an ebook.

Pre-ordered it, read it in a couple of days when it came out. Loved it. Fresh but familiar take on our favorite Grand Admiral. It was a lot of fun to get chapters from Thrawn's point of view. I really enjoyed Zahn's nods to his original trilogy while still giving us a new origins story. Absolutely check it out.
There is another Zahn/Thrawn book on the way that has an April (?) release.

I want to be Grand Admiral Thrawn when I grow up.
