Re: "The Mandalorian" Live-Action Series (2019)

I got the 3 years for $140.00 discounted price by signing up to D23 basic membership. I’m still more excited for the Mandalorian than Episode IX! I’m also looking forward to the Obi Wan series and the Cassian Andor Series. Also being able to watch TCW and Rebels when ever I want is a nice perk.

Re: Star Wars Episode IX (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

Rey’s a Clone, The Sith Troopers are all Rey Clones, the Swiss army Sabre is impractical, what happened to her Bo staff which was clearly gonna become a light saber? Thanks for the 56 seconds of nostalgia, what happened to killing the past?

Re: Star Wars Episode IX (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

I'll see your ridiculous fan fiction theory and raise you! Rey is sent back in time and becomes Shmii Skywalker  So Rey is able to forceflip over a Tie Fighter but can't outrun a few Tusken Raiders??? Or Rey is going to levitate the remains of the Death Star off the Planet....ugghhh God. 130 d...

Of the three I find Palpy's Royal Guards the most intimidating appearance-wise.

Re: Star Wars Episode IX (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

No it's not. The marketing department was running out ideas of what to call the next toy trooper. It just means they are red and probably commanded by a Sith. Just a mixture of praetorian and trooper. This is the one thing that urks me about this franchise....the way new characters are introduced! ...

The time period that the Cassian Andor series takes place is extremely fascinating to me! We could see some SWR cameo's! And work like Spackle for timeline questions.

Re: Star Wars Episode IX (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

I don't believe Rey is a clone as a clone is usually the same sex as the donor. I know the Kaminos could alter the dna but seems a stretch to change the sex. That’s true. Perhaps they needed a host body too create a Clone because Luke’s arm wasn’t enough. So maybe Kylo wasn’t lying about Rey’s pare...

Ok I just had another epiphany they are gonna find info on the remains of the DSII which leads them back to Jakku where they find the emperor's top secret cloning chamber, inside are thousands of cloning pods like on Kamino. All young boys. All dead but 1. Rey saves the boy from Kylo and brings the ...

Re: Star Wars Episode IX (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

I think Lando's role in this movie is probably information broker, Leia seeks him out for info regarding "a bad feeling". Leia splits the kids into 2 parties Finn, Poe and Rose / Chewie, Rey and 3PO, Rey goes somewhere and force ghost Luke talks to her about something while Finn, Rose and ...

Re: What SW are you looking forward the most 2019?

The Mandalorian is far and away my most anticipated SW property this year! Filoni and Favareu, the budget per episode, and the fact Disney wants to compete with Netflix so this show MUST succeed for D+ to succeed! Next would be TCW, then the Cassian Andor D+ series, then the Game, but it's from EA s...

No not at all. I think the fact that there can be no Han, Force ghost Luke and Leia is limited to outtakes from TLJ makes people less interested. At this point there is no cohesive story line, and they’ve made it depressingly clear connective tissue to the OT and PT is not high on their priority li...
