Re: Animated: The Bad Batch

I watched the first 6 episodes this weekend. The show is nice. Story lines are ok. I feel it is a little dumbed down to be more aimed at kids.

Happy Easter Senators. Remember to fill up on chocolate eggs and not frog's eggs as the Frog lady doesn't like it when you eat her offspring. :mando:

Re: Live-action: "Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi"

While not announced I'm sure he will. Darth is one of the few recurring characters that he does keep doing. It is voice work so he can take his time and also read his lines. He just finished "Coming 2 America". He turned 90 in January. I presume we will see Hayden in the chamber with his helmet off....

So it will feature Tatooine a bit more but I don't expect Darth to visit, as he would have felt Obi-Wan's presence and he doesn't like sand.

Re: Animated & Live Action: Ewoks

I don't remember a great deal about the show as it aired in the afternoon and I had just started work. It is set before the battle of Endor and with a young Wicket and the villians were a witch and species called the Duloks.

Mags, they were released here. They are a product of their era and definitely for kids.

One year of my SW membership (when LFL had it) came with an animated cell from the Ewoks series.

Re: How to find Novels by Era

There will be no more 'Legends' novels. Disney don't want this universe to continue. They actually had the series of three novels called 'Sword of the Jedi' which was going to cover Jaina stopped from going to print. I believe that Christie Golden had complete the first two novels from that series. ...

Master Shrive I bought a years sub and I found out about the appearance of the characters via social media before I saw the eps. I accept this as part of life. Too many tv shows encourage viewers to tweet during shows (use the hashtag ...) so people tweet about all shows now. Even UPFs now only wait...

I presume that this means that Obi wan will travel away from Tatooine so Luke isn't discover. I wonder if he helps Ashoka as there appears to be a lot of crossovers now.

Lando to get a new limited series so no movie. No announcement of timeline so unsure if Donald Glover or Billy Dee Williams. I presume it will be Donald due to Billy's age. It might be a mixture with Billy recalling memories (at the start) and Donald acting out those memories (majority of the episod...
