Re: Last Movie Watched
"The Rookie" (1990) starring Clint Eastwood and Charlie Sheen. Clintans (as he's affectionately known in Sweden) last cop movie should've been a Dirty Harry movie. It wouldn't have been to hard turning it into one and would've been a better last entry in the series than "The Dead Pool...

Re: Live-action: "Star Wars: Andor" ('Rogue One' prequel)
YouTube Star Wars: Andor Trailer Interesting trailer. A few thoughts: * Appears as if Stellan Skarsgård will play a larger role than I thought * It's great to see Coruscant, and particularly the Senate, again! * Had no idea that Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker) and Mon Mothma (Genevieve O'Reilly) woul...

Re: Live-action: "Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi" *Spoilers allowed*
What do we think from here? Is that the end for Kenobi and Vader in live action series? Or will they find a way to continue? You might have seen some of the info going around recently that this started out as a movie and that the writer had a trilogy in mind. From what he said, they used his work f...

I started it last week and finished it today. I got some minor spoilers online because I delayed, but nothing important.

Third episode has dropped. Do we still have spoiler tags on the forums? As I see this thread isn't spoiler listed, but there's definitely spoilers below: Just tried, but they don't work. I edited the thread title so that spoilers are allowed. I'm definitely enjoying it so far. However, I have conce...

Mags, they were released here. They are a product of their era and definitely for kids. One year of my SW membership (when LFL had it) came with an animated cell from the Ewoks series. Oh, yes, I referred to Sweden where the animated shows weren't released (the two Ewok movies both had theatrical r...

Re: How to find Novels by Era
There will be no more 'Legends' novels. Disney don't want this universe to continue. They actually had the series of three novels called 'Sword of the Jedi' which was going to cover Jaina stopped from going to print. I believe that Christie Golden had complete the first two novels from that series....

I'm past the point of reading every Star Wars novel and comic book that comes out. I want to focus only on those Novels which include major characters from the Original Trilogy. Han, Luke, Leia, Chewie, Lando, Obi-Wan, Darth Vader etc. I know Mace Windu isn't from the Original Trilogy, but Shatterp...

Holy Expletive Deleted! I just saw Episode 8 of Season 2, Chapter 16 "The Rescue," which I presume is the end of season two, and I have to say... That was pretty darned good! It wasn't without its problems (for example: Why do Super Duper Troopers resort to fists? I can think of things we...

Jane Eyre 1943, B&W, 97, 20th Century Fox, directed by Roger Stevenson. Starring Orson Welles and Joan Fontaine. Weird bit of soapy Gothic, from the Charlotte Brontë novel, which I have not read but assume is likewise Goth-y. Not my usual sort of thing, but it was the least objectionable altern...

I really think this should be placed much, much earlier in the timeline.
I also don't think Leslye Headland should be allowed anywhere near Star Wars.

"The Institute" by Stephen King.
A more satisfying, though quite similar read, compared to "Firestarter".
