Yoda's appearance was one of the things that felt out of place and written by someone who hadn't watched the OT. And it was "crazy" Yoda that he used as a test for Luke. Yoda did not act that way before or since. And the puppet looked awful and nothing like either in the OT or PT. People ...

Discovery was just meh before the season break, but I gotta say, this show is officially off the chain now. Been hearing a lot of people hate these new twists, but I'm all on board. I've been watching Vikings on HBO. I was surprised that Ragnar Lodbrok is the main character, although much liberty has been taken with the old stories. In the stories, Ragnar was the son of a Swedish king, Sigurd Ring, and not a peasant. The stories were also set many decades earlier than the show....

The last episode of Discovery, "The Wolf Inside" was a very predictable one and not as good as the previous episode.

No, in May (May 25th). I'm sure they'll push it to December though. The reshoots haven't been officially confirmed.

So, the second half of the first season of Discovery has started and "Despite Yourself" (directed by Jonathan Frakes) was a darn good episode! I should say that quite possibly the best episode yet! There had been some foreshadowing and some things were predictable, but a things didn't quit...
