Re: Last Television Show Watched
Doc Martin , 3.3, "Love Thy Neighbor." Love that show! :) I've really been surprised by how good it is. I kept seeing it advertised in the "Previews" on another disc set I was watching, and tried it on a lark. Now I have the first six series on the shelf, adding an another serie...

Love that show!
I'm currently rewatching the X-Files. I haven't rewatched the series since it originally aired in Sweden. Time hasn't been kind. I loved it back then but now I find it very goofy.

Re: Animated: The Bad Batch
It makes sense to make another animated series while the restrictions of COVID19 are in place. It is a show that can be work on in isolation. Disney need new material to keep people subscribing and delays to live action causes a need to think of other avenues. My concern is them using the same time...

Animated: The Bad Batch
Lucasfilm and Disney are producing (with Dave Filoni as producer) a new animated series, Star Wars: The Bad Batch , that will feature the group from the last season of The Clone Wars for a release in 2021: Today, Disney+ ordered its next animated series from Lucasfilm, Star Wars: The Bad Batch. Re: Star Wars Episode V The Empire Strikes Back
Random thought I had while watching this movie the other day: why did Luke not face any consequences for taking one of the Alliance's X-Wings to Dagobah without authorization and then losing it on Bespin? Luke was a hero and one of the most senior commanders of the Alliance. He would get away with ...

Re: Star Wars Episode VI Return of the Jedi
A totally pointless change intended for the never-released 3D version. The change only introduced continuity errors. The shot is also not static, but it pans.

Glad to hear! No, Disney+ won't be available here in Sweden before fall. I haven't heard about a Blu-Ray release either so I guess they're holding out.Siamese Sith wrote: ↑May 13th, 2020, 11:54 am Wow it’s not?

"Myten om Jesus" ("The Myth of Jesus") by the late professor Alvar Ellegård. Ellegård posited that Jesus is a mythical character and who was based on the Essene Teacher of Righteousness. I agree that Jesus was a mythical character, but I think the point is largely moot and that J...

Re: Star Wars Episode VI Return of the Jedi
Sorry for the DP... I've been a stark defender of the Special Editions and later changes. However, I can't defend the latest changes made to ROTJ introduced in 2011. The door to Jabba's palace is just dumb and Vader's "Noooo" ruined the scene.

Re: Star Wars Episode IX (SPOILERS ALLOWED)
I've watched it thrice on Blu-Ray now. A deeply flawed, unimaginative and hollow movie. Not as bad as "The Last Moof-Milker" (Tesla!) but still very bad. The ST is devoid of imagination. There were many complaints about Lucas's use of CG to create environments, but as long as they're are m...

TPM has seen some reevaluation after the ST with some reviewers praising Lucas's worldbuilding (which the ST lacked). I got to admit that I've done so myself.

Re: "The Mandalorian" Live-Action Series (2019)
I haven't seen much of The Mandalorian. Ads, brief clips, some concept art circulating on the web. And who could escape the revoltingly cute Yodaling? And I keep thinking one thing: Lone Wolf and Cub But I don't think I see any Japanese people. Is this some of that "cultural appropriation"...

I'm curious Mags. If you say in your first list that it's really a tie between ESB and ROTS, then how does Rogue One split them in the second list (unless it's a three way tie)? I really had to ponder on that question... I really, really like Rogue One . It's the last (and probably only) really gre...

After having watched TROS on Blu-Ray twice now, I feel I must revise my ranking and there's also a SW movie I think deserves more credit. Saga movies 1. The Empire Strikes Back 2. Revenge of the Sith (it's really a tie between TESB and ROTS) 3. A New Hope 4. Attack of the Clones 5. Return of the Jed...

There is now a delay in this series as they search for a new writer / new scripts (a familar problem with SW now). Also the series appears to have been shorten from 6 to 4 episodes. Shooting is reportedly now January 2021. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/obi-wan-kenobi-series-hold-as-...

Jar Jar Abrams and Terrio speaks from their behind. There wad NEVER a conflict between the House of Skywalker and the House of Palpatine in Star Wars and there never WAS a House of Palpatine in the movies to begin with! I thought this was Star Wars, not Game of Thrones!
