Re: What SW are you looking forward the most 2019?

The poll says "Star Wars Products," so I'm going with the new 8" Darth Vader Black Series Action Figure from Hasbro. The TV stuff doesn't grab me; the prospect of E IX fills me with dread...or revulsion, depending on whether I'm feeling optimistic or pessimistic at the time. Absolute...

That's what brought me to the Galactic Senate. This time around I'm not even sure I know the PT well eno...

Only 10 months (give or take a few days) to the movie's release.
And hopefully we'll get a trailer soon.

Re: Last Television Show Watched

I'm not a fantasy fan, but I was talked into watching Game of Thrones . I've bingewatched it on HBO and am currently on the last episode of season 6. What is your thoughts on it? I liked it! Though some plot elements were predictable, the series as a whole wasn't. The money put into the series, the...

Re: Star Wars Episode VI Return of the Jedi

Yes, that's absolutely true. TFA also broke the rhyming by having a non-Skywalker destroy Starkiller Base (Droid Control Ship - Anakin, Death Star I - Luke, Starkiller Base - Poe). ROTJ broke this rhyming DS 2 by Lando and Wedge. No, it really didn't as it was the rhyming between the trilogies, not...

Re: Star Wars Episode VI Return of the Jedi

JJ Abrams managed to rhyme to some degree, but the rhyming between the OT and the ST got shot out of the water with TLJ (that movie rhymes better with Spaceballs ). And as we've discussed in other threads, Abrams/Kasdan took it too far in TFA, too note-for-note and too intrinsic to the backbone of ...

Re: Star Wars Episode VI Return of the Jedi

Caught a bit of ROTJ over the weekend, the scene on Endor where Vader and Luke are talking. Luke I think had his back turned and Vader ignited Luke's saber. I thought of the scene in ROTS where Palpatine has his back turned, asking "are you going to kill me?", when Anakin ignited his own ...

First episode ot Discovery season two has aired. Not tio bad a few major plot holes in canon. Why did Spok never mention Micheal at all? Yeah, I watched it last Friday. It was decent, but the pod travel sequence was way over the top. The second season will supposedly explain why he never mentioned ...

Rank the Star Wars Movies

I'm not really much a fan of ranking things, but one year on after The Last Jedi was released, I thought it's time to rank the movies. I will rank the movies in two lists: The first list only includes the Saga movies and the other also includes the "A Star Wars Story" movies. Here goes: Sa...
