That poster! Infinitely better than TFA rainbow edition poster. Am I the only one that instantly thought of pod racing with those small vessels skimming the surface heading Towards the AT-AT's waaaay off in the distance. Poster? There was a poster? Re: Last Movie Watched

Rogue One on Blu-Ray. A truly fantastic movie! When it was first announced, I thought: "Who would be interested in watching that? The Death Star again ." But how well it turned out! A+ Understood. There is one thing that might creep into my mind while I'm watching ANH in the future, arising from ha...

Another thing: Is there any substance to the assertion I've seen made that Samuel L. Jackson made video appearance at Celebration, in which he said, "Mace Windu is not dead"?
No, he said something to the effect that he wants to return as an older Mace Windu with prosthetic limbs.

Batman (1966). Though cheesy, I liked the series as a kid but had never seen the movie until now. Not great but camp and funny! C+

Re: Netflix

So, I finished The OA. It was a bit weird and a few things made me go "oookaay", but overall, I liked it. The acting was top-notch as was the pacing. It may not be for everyone, but I certainly recommend it. The last episode was truly a payoff! Looking forward to the second season!

Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

RO has been purchased! We went with Target, it's the only one that has 2 exclusive extras. I don't know why I care about that since the last SW movies I bought were the Special Edition on VHS. ;) http://blizzardskies.com/bz/gs/178-365a.JPG Great! Re: Star Trek - From TOS to Discovery and Beyond

From what little I've seen of her on The Walking Dead she seems perfectly capable. I wouldn't mind if the rumors of her being the lead are true. Would they really give Jason Isaacs, as captain, more of a secondary role? Yes. The people behind the show have stated that the captain isn't the lead cha...

Yes, that's one of my favorite pieces as well! Another one is the short piece when Qui-Gon makes the wager with Watto. That was also on the extended edition only. If you're talking about the Qui-Gon/Watto wager for the ship, then yes! That song was also part of the Qui-Gon tone poem. Beautiful :) h...

Re: Star Wars Episode V The Empire Strikes Back

There's a strong implication that Rogue group was named in honor after Jyn's band.

That's the kind of retcon I like: A more organic one to introduce elements rather than covering up for errors.

Re: Star Wars music

I'm also quite fond of a song in TPM when Anakin gets his podracer to work for the first time ("It's working, It's working!!!"). It was also included in Qui-Gon's tone poem during TPM's marketing run in 1999. It's only included on the extended edition of TPM's soundtrack. Yes, that's one of my favo...

No, i don't think so. I watched both seasons and the second season was even worse than the first. I wasn't surprised when I read that Netflix canceled it.
