Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

You have your opinion but this is just sour apples. I mean Poe's arc was great, Rose was really good. The movies was awesome. Poe's arc is great? He's just a pilot who gets to be on the bridge and demand to be included in everything. Without him, there would be more rebels left than can fit in the ...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

I really despise Poe Dameron. He should have died in the crash on Jakku. Rose - useless and annoying. So she wanted to save Finn from killing himself by crashing into his ship and killing both of them? Great idea. the splicer, DJ i think his name was, even more annoying. Was given too much prominen...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

Survey: The truth about Rey's parents... The truth spoken by Kylo, or a lie to confuse and/or sway her? It's the truth and the cave scene even furthers that truth. Her being a nobody is more profound than her being a Skywalker, Solo, Kenobie, Emperor's clone and other crazy theories. Kylo is being ...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

I couldn't imagine Luke going out any other way. I always expected the Obi-Wan or a blaze of glory but neither felt Luke Luke winning by outsmarting Kylo and showing off immense power and restraint simultaneously is pure Luke. Going in peace after saving the rebels AGAIN. That is Luke Skywalker. He ...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

When I first heard Rian was helming a SW movie and you can go back in these posts to see my angst, I wasn't happy about it. I knew it would be different and probably wouldn't like it...but I was wrong. I seen it last night and got home at midnight. My reaction after seeing it. I knew some things goi...

Re: Last Movie Watched

I watched Justice League and the first 45 minutes I disliked. After that it was really good. Aquaman and The Flash stood out the most for me, but I liked everyone in it. I think Ben is a good Batman. Probably my favorite scenes are [spoiler]Everything Aquaman, especially when he accidentally sat on ...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

I see what you did there.... well according to a legend I read, Luke did that (wink wink nudge nudge) I know what you're talking about but in reality that may or may not have happened. Just from a...certain point of view through someone else's eyes. Or maybe Leia see’s something in Poe that reminds...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

Luke is human, not super human. He fails alot which makes him pretty relatable, imo. Some want Luke to being pulling down star destroyers with the force and whipping up galaxay tornadoes to kill all the boogie men in space. It's like wtf? When did star wars become about being Superman in space? GL s...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

Leia doesn't die in VIII though. She had a bigger role in IX and even Rian solidified that she doesn't. Carrie died, but she completed her scenes before she did.

Now, Snoke could attempt to kill Leia and Kylo steps in and stops him.

Re: Rian Johnson will create a new Star Wars Trilogy

As writer-director of The Last Jedi, Johnson conceived and realized a powerful film of which Lucasfilm and Disney are immensely proud. In shepherding this new trilogy, which is separate from the episodic Skywalker saga, Johnson will introduce new characters from a corner of the galaxy that Star War...

Rian Johnson will create a new Star Wars Trilogy

Wasn't sure where to put this so put it here. For director Rian Johnson, Star Wars: The Last Jedi was just the beginning of his journey in a galaxy far, far away. Lucasfilm is excited to announce that Johnson will create a brand-new Star Wars trilogy, the first of which he is also set to write and d...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

As for the trailer it is the most clever edited and misdirected ladened trailer I've ever seen in my life. Rian is just messing with our heads. Back a few months ago or so, Adam Driver stated he'd like for us not to even get a trailer. I think there are such secrets in this movie it won't get spoile...

Re: Last Movie Watched

I've watched alot of movies latley. King Kong:Skull Island - It was different which was fresh for a change and I liked it Alien Covenant - I liked Prometheus and it had its moments, but that doesn't mean it wasn't flawed and the same goes for Covenant. I liked it a bit more than Prometheus. Not sure...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

Explain to me what's the difference between any other trilogy? Or any other movie for that matter. Not every movie gets a full arc from beginning to finish and it changes as it goes. GL did not have the story written out from ANH to ROTJ. Oh, sure he had lots of things he wrote but it wasn't until s...

Even if they rejected GL's ideas they had 4.05 billion reasons they could and can, but they only altered it some. And the mythology isn't being messed with it seems they're going back to a beginning with the journal of the whills. Yoda, Obi Wan and the council didn't have it right so to speak. They ...

Is it me or did Hayden seem a bit nervous and / or uncomfortable up there with Ian, George and Warwick? And what happened to Wedge, I heard he was coming to Celebration this year, I thought for sure he'd be there with the OT cast. Seeing Liam Neeson and Sam Jackson was nice but where was Ewan Macgr...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII (NO SPOILERS)

It's a teaser which isn't suppose to give away plot or anything for that matter, but people act like it's suppose to be something it isn't. Disappointed over what? I had no expectations of a teaser which I guarantee won't even have 90% of what they showed in it will even make it to the final movie.

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

The crazy looking ships skimming across the red sand are A-Wings. Ithink the planet is called Crait. Btw, Rian Johnson likes the Prequels, so I think there will be a mixture of PT and OT things in it. The whispers you hear are Obi Wan and Yoda and Leia Leia says"Help me Obi Wan." Obi Wan says"Seduce...

I started that game. It's just called two movie titles into one or something like that. I got the idea from Cracked the magazine.

Rogue One Who Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Fool's Goldfinger

Paul Blart Mall Robocop

Jesus Christ Superstar Wars
