Yet you are here, posting in a spoiler forum... :P Kidding aside, I'm meaning something small, yet tangible.
Which proves my point! I need his mystery box so that I don't find anything big when my weak-willed ass pops into one of these forums.

Re: Star Trek - From TOS to Discovery and Beyond

So far,I've only read that it's about the next chapter in Picard's life but what does that mean? Will he be commanding yet another ship, or be an admiral commanding several, or just a retired former officer living back on his family vineyard in France? What about the other members of TNG? Nothing i...

I don't mind it. Helps me go in knowing less which is awesome once the movie arrives.

Though I am concerned now about some of these standalones not being a sure thing (Kenobi, Fett). Sounds like Rian Johnson's trilogy is the only definite right now.

Re: Star Trek - From TOS to Discovery and Beyond

You beat me to it... :D Yes, Star Trek is getting Marvelized and I'm not on board with it and Stewart will undoubtedly be the token old Trek actor just as Nimoy was in the reboot. Anyway, here's the link to the original story: Variety Hadn't heard the Patrick Stewart detail. If there's any chance o...

FIVE DAYS of Star Wars!! Celebration 8! 5-days passes sold out in record time, two days. Saturday is sold out, too. Only Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday day passes are left. I've seen a few episodes but I need to catch up on the show. Does Vader face off with Maul on the show? SPOILERS . . . . . Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

1. This may not be Han and Lando's only interaction pre-OT This. "Solo" apparently takes place 10 years before ANH. Almost certainly, the plan was for "Solo" sequels. Despite the box office, I think that happens. So we'll definitely be seeing more of Han and Lando together. 2. Never got the feeling...

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

It was decent. The guy playing Han did a passable job, and Donald Glover was quite good as Lando, I thought. I liked Woody Harrelson in this movie more than I expected I would, and I liked how they handled the Kira character as well. It was cool to see that Kessel Run that Han was on about in ANH, ...

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

Here's my review: "Solo: A Star Wars Story" - There was a lot of doubt about this one; in large part, I'm sure, due to someone other than Harrison Ford playing Han Solo. Other factors included franchise fatigue and production drama (original directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller fired due to "creativ...

Rumors are spreading the Kenobi film will commence shooting in January 2019 for a 2020 release.
And is it the expectation it'll likely be Ewan in the role? I know its seems like a no-brainer, but I'm worried about them going with someone else.

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

- The so-called "humor" in the movie, from the beginning to the end, is awful. The worst is the awful treatment of General Hux, who went from a very young, but still menacing, Fascist-like military leader to a joke. From the ridiculous "General Hugs", "I'll hold" and "Your Mother"-'joke' to the sce...

Not unless you enjoy being bored and wasting your time. After the big build-up to last season's finale, they pulled back, way back this season, and it was mostly sub-standard monster-of-the-week episodes, at least a couple of which had ideological axes to grind. I know I've commented on The X-Files...
