A fun movie that takes the overly serious Thor series and gives it heart and laughs.

Longmire: The Western Star - B-

Enjoyable bit of neo western who dun it. Has two timelines, a couple of twists, and some good action. For me what it really lacked was principal character interaction. Oh, and I am not a fan of Walt turning into Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Offensive Line edition).

Close Encounters of the Third Kind - A

Took the kids to see the 40th anniversary showing. I have to say its been a while since I had watched the theatrical cut. I have to say the pacing is better than the Special Edition, and the Director's Cut. Also, it was beautiful on the big screen.

My daughter and I started rewatching (watching for her) the X-Files. Last night was 2.3 "Blood".

I've done a set of missions as the Empire (playing with friends) in Imperial Assault. I keep eyeing that game but the price tag makes it hard to take the leap. Is it worth the cost? Spiderman: Homecoming - A- - A funny, high school based Peter Parker tale. My teens liked it more than I did. To me it felt the most like "Spiderman" since early Tobey Maguire.

Dunkirk - A - A fast paced war movie. I really need to see it again.
