Re: The Next Animated Star Wars series Star Wars Resistance

Still haven’t made it past the first episode. Now that I have D+ I’ll get around to it eventually, maybe.
Did it get cancelled after S2?

Disney don't care what the fans think. Most casual fans don't watch the animated shows so have no idea about the Rebels showdown. If done correctly it could feed the showdown by explaining why Maul hates Kenobi even more.
This is true, I’m glad Ewan is back and I hope this series is good!

Sand worms, Phallic symbols, resurrections, Fan X convention interventions and reshoots....this seems like a well planned production! And Rian Johnson talking about finding the essence of Star Wars....shouldn't he have found that PRIOR to TLJ? Where's Javen, I need a rey of positivity! Reshoots are...

Re: The Obi-Wan Kenobi series

I know when Kenobi takes place chronologically, I just think it would detract from the final show down between Maul and Kenobi in Rebels if they run into each other in this series much like how bringing back Palpatine in TRoS will detract from Anakin’s redemption in RotJ.

I have a 10 y/o boy and a 3 y/o girl there’s plenty of content for myself and the kids. I’m looking forward to rewatching TCW and SWR series with my son and wife!
Plus I’m fully invested in the MCU so there’s that as well.

Has anyone seen RJ’s response regarding his SW Trilogy when asked at his Knives out premiere? My take is he hasn’t heard from anyone at Disney/LFL.

The 3 for 2 deal ended on 9/2 here in the US, not sure if it was offered world wide. All I had to do was sign up for a basic D23 membership which was free.

Re: The Obi-Wan Kenobi series

Are the episodes run time 1 hour? 6 hours of Obi Wan Kenobi :w00t: With the gravity of his purpose on Tatooine I'm kinda thinking he won't. I suspect we'll find out why he thinks Mos Eisley Space Port is the MOST wretched hive of Scum and Villainy. I'd like to see him getting betrayed by Vizago in M...

I saw solo but for them to run into each other it would have to be off world. At this point Maul doesn’t even know about Tatooine.he discovers Tatooine through the vision he receives by combining the Sith and Jedi holocrons in SWR.

Re: Star Wars Episode IX (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

What are they calling it when a Sith corrupts a Kyber Crystal? Bleeding it? I think I’d like it more if say Sidious’ essence was absorbed by the Kyber Crystal just before it exploded. And shards crashed onto the forest moon of Endor and poisoned the planet and corrupted the Ewoks! And Dark Side Aco...

There are now more or less complete plot descriptions of TROS floating around. I'd say that this tweet summon them up: Twitter I've heard everything I need, and I PRAY TO GOD this is all BS to protect the actual plot. . . . . . but I'm afraid it's not. So Sheev was thrown down a shaft that led to t...

I got the 3 years for $140.00 discounted price by signing up to D23 basic membership. I’m still more excited for the Mandalorian than Episode IX! I’m also looking forward to the Obi Wan series and the Cassian Andor Series. Also being able to watch TCW and Rebels when ever I want is a nice perk.

Re: Star Wars Episode IX (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

No it's not. The marketing department was running out ideas of what to call the next toy trooper. It just means they are red and probably commanded by a Sith. Just a mixture of praetorian and trooper. This is the one thing that urks me about this franchise....the way new characters are introduced! ...

The time period that the Cassian Andor series takes place is extremely fascinating to me! We could see some SWR cameo's! And work like Spackle for timeline questions.

Considering how disappointed GOT fans were with most of the last season, it will being interesting to see how they write in the SW universe without a book for source material.
I never watched GOT (always wanted to) but the discontent is tangible! What else has D&D done?
